Ok, this stallion does not have
huge award winners that I know of in his immediate pedigree, but
what he does have is the most outstanding temperament that he passes
on to the majority of his foals. This boy is an exceptional
trail horse, even young novice riders can ride him out on the
trails. He is a lazy gaiter that you do have to keep reminding
him to move out as he much prefers to to just walk along and
enjoy the views. No spook, easy to use and work around, one of
the sweetest stallions around, it is for these reasons I continue to
use him as a stallion. He has gone out on hunting trips with
me, and although lazy, has gone all day long, up and down hills
without an issue, high lined all night long, this is one great using
stallion, that are flashy as well. I am sure you would be
pleased with one of his foals.

Smokie is a true classic curly with
outstanding confirmation, mellow attitude and is producing 100%
extreme curly foals from non-curly mares. These foals have the
tight ringlets in their ears, fetlocks and yes even their lashes.
Their coats look like crushed velvet in the summer and deep
ringlets, sheep like, in the winter. Hypo-allergenic, great
workable attitudes and easy temperaments make all Smokie's foals
ideal trail horses for the occasional or competitive rider.

This is a pony that rides and works
well with young children, you would never know this fellow is a
stallion. All his foals have quickly and easily become
children's first ponies. I keep him for a stallion primarily
for this reason, but his flashy color with blue eyes just makes him
even more special.
